What Happens to Our Physical Bodies Eventually

I frequently text some of my grandchildren, calling them my jewels. Actually, all of them are, but I don’t have all their phone numbers. Each time I use a different description: “precious,” “special,” sparkling,” and “resplendent.” In today’s text I shared with them that today at 1pm I’m having a medical procedure called "colonoscopy."
I told them to pray for their “Gigi” (my nickname, meaning “Granddaddy”). Then I explained to them the following:
BUT! I've got victory no matter what. You also have victory no matter what. Our bodies sometimes get tired and weak, but our God remains with us. We have nothing to fear. One day the Lord will "change our vile (weak) body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious (perfect) body" (Philippians 3:21), and we who love Jesus will be in heaven where there will be "no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away" (Revelation 21:4). Enjoy your victory today! I love you.”
Their responses always indicate that they got their spiritual “booster shot” from Gigi.
Blessings!
