Truth Liberates Us
From the Lies of the Antichrist
A dear brother shared this Facebook video with me:
It brings to my mind what the Apostle John wrote:
"Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour. They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but they went out that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us" (John 2:18-19).
Their conspicuous lies are evidence of who they really are although they are experts at concealing their real identity:
"For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works" (2 Cor. 11:13-15).
The truth of God's word will keep us alert and free from their deception: "Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, 'If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free'" (John 8:31-32).
The truth is that all praise and glory belong to the the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
