The Value of the Fear of the Lord

For me, time has gone by so fast. I’m witnessing my grandchildren graduating from high school and college. Their aspirations are high as they pursue their vocational objectives. Thus, they strongly value higher learning.

BUT! This is my firm advice to them, as well as it would be to any high school or college student:

“The most important thing for us to learn in life is to fear (acknowledge and give the highest respect to) the Lord. Job 28:28 says, ‘Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, And to depart from evil is understanding.’ A person without the fear of the Lord is a fool. Proverbs 1:7 says,

‘The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge,But fools despise wisdom and instruction.’ So, in all our ways, let's trust in the Lord with all our heart and not ignore His  wisdom.

Let's always acknowledge the Lord, ‘and He will direct our paths’ (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Jesus said, ‘If you abide in My word (reading the Bible), you are My disciples (learners) indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free’ (John 8:31-32).

I love you."

Blessings!

May Gods grant that our posterity seek His wisdom.
