The God-Given Right to Freedom

Many in America don’t realize how blessed it is to experience freedom. 

At nineteen, joining the military (1966) was for me one of the best decisions I ever made. I highly respect all my fellow veterans, past and present, especially those who participated in combat and the families of those who paid the ultimate price. It's all about our God-given rights to "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness." They're "God given" because it's not the government's job to give anybody rights but to protect God-given human rights from men like Nimrod

(Gen. 11:8-14) on down through history to Nebuchadnezzar (Daniel 4), the Roman emperors, popes, European kings and 20th century dictators, Asian "gods," including Japan's last one (Hirohito), and all cult leaders like Father Divine, Daddy Grace, Farrakhan, Jim Jones, etc. 

Scripture describes God as "the great, the mighty, and the awesome God... (Nehemiah 9:32) and "Come and see the works of God, Who is awesome in His deeds toward the sons of mankind" (Psalm 66:5). 

So, thank the Lord for the faithful American soldiers, especially those who saw fit to die rather than surrender their God-given rights to the government. However, since nothing from God is ever deserved, not even our rights, America is truly a land on which God is shedding His grace. As citizens, soldiers or not, we have the right to fight for our  freedom. Thanks for your participation.
