Prophecy and the Gospel

I’m prayerfully trying to convince a deceived and confused friend, Mr. M, that there is no doubt that biblical prophecy will be fulfilled. He recently renounced his Christian faith and is now engaged in some teachings that are a mixed bag of weird ideologies. He’s gone “out on a limb” with prophecy and, since he denies the personality of the Holy Spirit and the Trinity, his view of the gospel is heavily flawed.
Here’s what I texted to Him:
“Jesus said, ‘These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms concerning Me…Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day, and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And you are witnesses of these things. Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high’” (Luke 24:44-49). “That power is the Holy Spirit who empowers Christians to proclaim the gospel (Acts 1:8). The gospel ‘is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Gentiles.’
Scripture teaches that in Christ ‘you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory’ (Ephesians 1:13-14).
Glory to His precious and powerful name! 🙌🏾”
Blessings!
