Our Ultimate Hope

Jesus said, “Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come”(Matthew 24:42). That’s referring to the Second Coming. The point is that no one knows of it nor the time of the rapture. Paul wrote, “looking for that blessed hope (the rapture), and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works” (Titus 2:13-14). Thus, the end of COVID-19 isn’t our ultimate hope. Rather, it is Christ’s coming for His church (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18).
