Much Work to be Done for the Lord

As I was meditating on my  birthday, I thought about what was ahead for me and put it in devotional form:

  Much Work to be Done for the Lord

I don't take it for granted that, as of April 8th, the Lord has blessed me to live on His earth for 77 years. His calling is still upon me, and I realize there's much work to be done.

I can feel the hearts of believers who desire to serve the Lord and are seeking opportunities. God's calling always comes with an open door of opportunity for a particular service, full-time ministry or not, to glorify Him. As usual, it will not be without challenges, but the Lord will help His servants hurdle over each one and provide a way to escape allurements (1 Cor. 10:23). As we engage ourselves in His work, we can claim His promise given in Isaiah 41:10.
