If The Devil Can't Make You Bad, He'll Make You Busy

A response to the above picture:

Yes, it is. It's probably true if a person "worships" his busyness or seeks self-fulfillment by staying busy. I believe Moses, David, and the Apostle Paul were probably the most busiest saints in the Bible, but they kept their focus on the Lord who was leading them. In other words, they kept in mind the words, "Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me" (Psalm 119:133). That helped them and helps us stay balanced, avoiding an overload.

It's allowing the Lord to lead us and direct our paths. Depending upon our gifts, some will be busier than others.

Since Jesus said, "Without me you can do nothing" (John 15:5), then He empowers us to do His will (sometimes busy; sometimes not busy). He gives us wisdom so we can know when to slow down and rest.

I believe busyness is of the flesh if it's not Spirit led. If it's

Spirit led, it's controlled by Him. He will cause it to cease as He sees fit. Praise God! He's always in control, busy, resting, or asleep.

Blessings!
