How Did God Justify Sinner

In Sunday school, My Bible lesson taught that God chose to declare us (believers in Jesus) innocent instead of condemning us because we believe that our sins were put on or charged to Jesus who died for us. Therefore, God is our "justifier" (making us innocent in His eyes) because of our faith in Jesus. That's what Romans 3:26 means.

It says, "for the demonstration (to show), His righteousness at the present time (now), so that He would be just (fair) and the justifier (making innocent) of the one (you and me) who has faith in Jesus."

Also, 2 Cor. 5:21 says, “He (God, the Father) made Him (Jesus) who knew no sin (Jesus is sinless) to be sin on our behalf, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”

One more: “Christ also died for sins once for all, the just (Christ) for the unjust (us sinners), in order that He might bring us to God… (1 Peter 3:18).

Praise Jesus for making us innocent by dying for our sins.

Therefore, what does God deserve from us?

Blessings!
