God’s Glory Revealed in Us
All is well with us in Christ no matter what comes our way. God's word says, "For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
For the earnest expectation of the creation waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God" (Rom. 8:18-19). That's a profound statement which seems to say God's whole creation is waiting to see His revelation of His saints. I'm not sure, but it seems to relate to the prophecy of Dan. 12:3 - "And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever." The context indicates saved Jews during the millennium but by extension can include saved gentiles. Currently, all saints are encouraged to "be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world" (Philippians 2:15).
Therefore, the creation is getting a glimpse of what all of God's saints will be like in the millennium. So, whatever comes our way, "the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us." To God be the glory!
Blessings!
