We should try not to stay up too late (perhaps not after 11 pm).

We still need to rest, especially on weekends. God watches over us during the night 👀. The Bible says, "He who keeps you will not slumber" (Psalm 121:3). God never gets tired and sleepy, but He created us with bodies that get tired and sleepy. Therefore, He created night (Genesis 1:3-5) so we can rest in the dark. Since electric lights were invented, we often stay up too late. But, God wants us to get our rest. His word says, "It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows" (losing sleep over worrying); For so He gives His beloved sleep" (Psalm 127:2).

So, like that famous prayer, that possibly goes as far back in time as 1737, says, “Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray the Lord my Soul to keep. If I should die before I 'wake, I pray the Lord my Soul to take.”🙏🏾

Blessings!
