A brother sent me the following: “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires, 4 and will turn away their ears from the truth and will turn aside to myths.” (2 Tim 4:3-4). He added, “This is the word of God coming to pass right before our eyes.”

My response: “Absolutely! God is also giving many unbelievers over to believe falsehoods since they reject the truth (2Thess. 2:11-12), just as He did in Roman 1:22-28. He’s also allowing Satan to do his job (2 Cor. 4:4). We as believers should be resisting Satan and his demons with the armor of God (Eph. 6:10-18). Blessings!”

My brother sees how crazy things are in the world during the spirit of this age. As the Apostle Paul indicated in the above passage in 2 Timothy, things will get worse. However, our faith must remain strong because our divine assignment is the Great Commission which involves spreading the gospel.
