Responding to a Dear Brother Who Hates FOX News and Loves CNN

Good afternoon (my brother), I appreciate your honesty. You have your reasons for preferring CNN and rejecting FOX News. I'm not exactly a fan of FOX. Very few there, at least two people, I listen to.

Thank you for sharing your perspective and, yes, we can agree to disagree. As Thomas Sowell would advise, we need to hear opinions opposite of our own in order to learn from them, interact with them, be willing to change our mind if intellectual honesty requires it and sharpen up on what we believe with reasonable evidence that it is true. That's why I start with scripture and do my best to shape my worldview according to its teachings. None of my conclusions are perfect, and I'm willing to change whenever I discover that I'm wrong. I've done that many times. Thanks again for sharing your perspective.
