Each New Day is From God

We should thank God for each day he gives us so that we can live for Him. God's word encourages us to

A. "Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands!

B. Serve the Lord with gladness;

C. Come before His presence with singing."

Next, here's what we should keep in mind:

A. "Know that the Lord, He is God;

B. It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves;

C. We are His people and the sheep of His pasture."

Next, He always deserves our praise and thanksgiving:

A. "Enter into His gates (presence) with thanksgiving,

B. And into His courts with praise.

C. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name."

Next, meditate on God's characteristics:

A. "For the Lord is good;

His mercy is everlasting,

And His truth endures to all generations"

(Psalm 100).

(Rom. 8:35-37).
