My response:
“Shameful and disgusting! I would never wish that on any political opponent.
Scripture teaches us
"Therefore I exhort first of all that
supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time" (1 Tim. 2:1-6).
Either it means what it says or it doesn't.
That's why Christians, including Messianic Jews, have prayed for Nazis and radical Islamics, Blacks have prayed for white bigots, and a few Democrats and a few Republicans pray for each other.
C'mon brothers. God is not pleased when we disregard His word.
