Ad Hominem Attacks Among Believers Are Not Good

My response to some brothers who consider supporters of Mr. Trump his blind followers:

My dear brothers, I respect your right to be critical of Mr. Trump as much as you like, but is it fair to use ad hominem attacks against your brother(s) who is for Trump?

My response is that I love you brothers and respect your views and preferences. My views and preferences are based on biblical principles and openness to see right and wrong on both sides. I do research without preconceived notions so I can get to the truth. Admittedly, it's hard sometimes to be unbiased (that's human proneness), but I strongly prefer not to be so. I don't want to be guilty of suppressing "the truth in unrighteousness" (Rom. 1:18). My preference for Mr. Trump doesn't mean I'm blindfolded, brainwashed, or deceived, and I'm determined to respect those who disagree without launching ad hominem attacks against them. 🙏🏾❤️

Blessings!
