Accountability partners are spiritual guardians of believers. All believers need them regardless of how long they’ve been saved.
In his book, "The Body," Charles Colson said his accountability partners would ask each other tough questions each week. I copied them and added some of my own. For example,
Have you...
1. lusted?
2. had illicit sex?
3. stolen anything?
4. used profanity?
5. disrespected your
wife?
6. mistreated your
children?
7. cheated others,
including your boss?
8. watched
pornographic
literature or movies?
9. gotten intoxicated?
10. lied about any of the
previous questions?
Lastly, are you lying now?
Saying "no" to all questions doesn't mean perfection but spiritual maturity. Notwithstanding, intense spiritual battles prevail (Gal. 5:17). Thus, the need for accountability partners. Partners Needed
