A Sense of Humor

There's nothing wrong with having a good sense of humor and telling jokes (jesting). However, jesting has its place. It's best not to jest in the presence of someone immature and foolish or too serious-minded. We have to be discerning because foolishness may be in the person(s). Let's follow Paul's teaching: "there must be no filthiness and silly talk, or coarse (obscene) jesting, which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks" (Ephesians 5:4). So, keep jesting clean and appropriate and enjoy having a
