Spiritual Benefits

They come with a “cost.” It seems that when the Lord has something great in store for us to do, it apparently has to come with trials and testings which He is using to purge and mature us in our walk with Him and service to Him. He will give us spiritual benefits that we otherwise would not get. I know other believers who have experienced the same things. 1 Peter 1:6-7 teaches that hardships prove the glorious value of our faith although it’s tested by fiery trials. For other references to spiritual benefits that come by trials, see Romans 5:1-5; James 1:2-5, 12; 1 Peter 4:12-16. To top it all off, remember the words in Romans 8:31-39 (reading the scripture references will be very helpful to you). So, remember, God has something great in store for us as we live for and serve Him. He uses our trials and testings to prove that we’re going to be ready when the time comes. Just stay prayerful, stay submissive to Him, stay thankful, and stay humble. The spiritual benefits will soon be realized. Blessings!
