Parents and Educators May Fail, but Jesus Never Fails

Check out the video first:

That video reflects the failure of public schools (not all) that have lowered their academic standards and opted for social promotions of the students. Yet, educators of all levels still get pay raises and teachers' unions increase membership dues. Thus, educating the students isn't a priority but making as much money as possible. While teaching at Wayland Baptist Univ., I had a senior student who was a poor reader and speller. Another one was a school teacher whose spelling was deplorable! My heartfelt bad for them, and I gave them a well-deserved "D" instead of failing them. Corrupt educators get away with murder because they know that many parents don't care what their children are taught at school. Very sad! Why? Because many parents are not mentally mature and intellectually astute. They do what brings babies into the world but don't know how to raise them. They even oppose good parents and trust corrupt school board members. The young man discussed in the video needed help from his parents and the school. Both failed him.

But, there's still hope for that young man. Jesus can help him as He did that hopeless man in Gerasa (Mark 5:1-20). Note especially verses 18-20. Jesus is always the "Beginning Point" to a better life for sinners who put their trust in Him.

Blessings!
