Water From the Well

I teach a Bible weekly study called “Water From the Well.”
The title is based on the passage in John 4:6-29.
A spiritually thirsty lady came to a well where Jesus was relaxing.
Jesus asked her to give Him some water. She said, "The well is deep" (4:11). She meant the natural well, but, later, when she got a taste of the "water" (the Holy Spirit) from the deeper spiritual well (the Person of Jesus in whom she trusted), she couldn't help but do this:
"So the woman left her waterpot, and went into the city and said to the men, 'Come, see a man who told me all the things that I have done; this is not the Christ, is it?' They went out of the city, and were coming to Him” (verses 28-30).
Notice that she became an instant evangelist to "the men." I'm sure she shocked her fellow citizens because she had had five husbands (4 less than Elizabeth Taylor) and was shacking at the time (verse 18).
When she drank (i.e., believed in Jesus) the water, "news outlets" couldn't wait to tell of her change. If more preachers would draw "water from the well" (preach the word) today, we'd hear more news like that. See 2 Timothy 4:1-2.
