Happy 250 Celebration of America

Happy Fourth of July! 

Only the Lord can start a country and make it last 250 years, staying committed to the Declaration of Independent and the same Constitution. 

Since our Founding Fathers chose the biblical God to guide them, He was pleased to bless this country in spite of its many flaws, like many us have although we're born again. His  word says, 

"Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, The people whom He has chosen for His own inheritance" (Psalm 33:12). 

No nation has ever started without the Lord's initiative: 

“Let the name of God be blessed forever and ever,For wisdom and power belong to Him.

“It is He who changes the times and the epochs;He removes kings and establishes kings;He gives wisdom to wise menAnd knowledge to men of understanding" (Dan. 2:20-21).

God wants men to know that

"...the Most High is ruler over the realm of mankind, And bestows it on whom He wishes And sets over it the lowliest of men" (Dan. 4:17). 

So, no matter who is ruler over a nation, the Lord is the ultimate 

and superior Ruler. His word says, "The king’s heart is like channels of water in the hand of the Lord; He turns it wherever He wishes. (Prov. 21:1).There's never been a perfect human ruler nor a perfect nation, but there has always been the perfect God who rules the universe, the galaxies, the stars,  our solar system, and the earth on which we live. Let's keep in mind that He's the Creator of all things goods (Gen. 1:31).
